O have had mine for 10 years. Had great luck with it. Few repairs except the top pistons needed replacement. 2 grand but dealer wanted 5 to do it! Hope I have it another ten years!
    • Quintessential sports car!

Stunning eye appeal, mechanically sound and amazingly quick to go! Pure pleasure to drive on the back twisty roads of the Colorado and New Mexico mountains ranges!
    • Style but with some details rarely shared

Positives: Timeless design, plenty of storage space for a sports car, if you are tall you will fit comfortably, interior holds up well (no dashboard cracks or broken anything), amazing handling, fast once car hits its power band, plenty of parts out there for a 25 year old car, easy to work on and t’s a 911! Negatives: Hardtop takes two people to take off, if you put on low profile tires a large pot hole will give you a flat, ride is very harsh, loud so that a good radio is wasted, plastic rear window on Gen. 1 996’s are a compromise and it has serious blindspots.
